Kristo, the Tech Lead at Smarts, provided invaluable support to Enefit across multiple projects.
-
Entering to Latvia, Lithuania and Finland household electricity markets
Contributed to the automation of the electricity contract signing and fulfillment process, including integration with multiple external stakeholders such as distribution and transmission system operators. The project’s objective was to enter a new market each year, a goal achieved with Enefit now ranking as the second-largest electricity provider in Lithuania and a widely recognized brand in Latvia. Recently, operations in Finland were discontinued due to the portfolio’s unfavorable impact on the market.
-
Design, strategic development of Universal Service
During a critical period marked by high electricity prices, Kristo took responsibility from Enefit’s side to devise a solution that would enable us to quickly enter the market with a new service immediately following government approval. This involved preparing to manage hundreds of thousands of electricity contracts in a single day, ensuring both speed and scalability in our approach.
-
Design and development of Long Term Power Purchase agreement
In response to rising electricity prices, Enefit introduced long-term fixed-price agreements with an early termination penalty for customers seeking lower rates in exchange for a longer commitment. By effectively managing this risk, Enefit was able to offer electricity contracts at significantly lower rates than the average market price.
-
Design and development of foreign markets energy sales platforms
Development of a core contract platform designed to manage products, pricing, and contract domains, along with supporting end-to-end fulfillment processes.
-
Design and Development of product catalog
The objective was to develop a highly configurable product catalog based on global TM Forum standards, enabling the business to accelerate the development and launch of new services.
